Emory Green

Emory S. Green (Steve), 67, went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2015. He was born on August 5, 1947 to the late Frank and Mary Green. He served in the Vietnam War in the US Army. He enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family. Emory leaves to cherish his memory, Nancy (David) Martin, Stephanie (Thomas) Boggs, and Mary Sue Turner, who has passed away; grandchildren, Rebecca, Rodney, Steven, Leanne, Tory and Gage; great-granddaughters, Mekenna and Hailey; siblings, Delores Messer, June Cogar, Frank (Kathleen) Green, Lily Carpenter, Betty (Clarence) Cutlip, and Barbara Carter; special friend, Jeanette Parks; former spouse, Nancy Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Calling hours will be held on Sunday March 15, 2015 from 12-2pm and funeral service will be held on Monday March 16 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Interment OhioWestern Reserve National Cemetery.
