Emma Long, 101, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016. Emma was born on January 26,1915. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Emma is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel G. Long ; son,Daniel Long; grandson, David Parsell; siblings.
She is survived by children, Sam (Kay) Long; Ann (Parsell) Sloan; Mary Simmons; brother, Andy Horvath; a host of family and friends who will miss Emma dearly.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 3 , 2017 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will follow.
Interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park.
