Elmer Frank Eakin, II, 61, of Akron, passed away October 2, 2014. He was born in Canton, Ohio on June 13, 1953 to the late Elmer and Elsie Eakin. A jokester with a quick wit, loving smile and karaoke baritone voice.
In addition to his parents, Elmer was preceded in death by his sister, Judy. He is survived by Daughter, Katie (Jeremy) Phillips, Son, Jeremiah Eakin, Daughter, Rachel (Jeremy) Eakin, Brothers; Bob and Dan Eakin, Sister, Debbie (Cary) Neiman, and other family and close friends.
A Celebration of Elmer's Life will be hosted by the family at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at La Pizzaria, 3656 Dressler Rd NW, Canton, OH 44718.
