Elizabeth Ann Edmiston

Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Edmiston, 73, of Akron, passed away August 10, 2014. She was born in Akron, Ohio on May 25, 1941 to the late William and Helena Sweet. She lived up to her family name as a 'Sweet' loving soul who cherished her role as wife and a caring mother to her family and many others.

In addition to her parents, Betsy was preceded in death by her Brother, William Sweet. She will be dearly missed by her Husband of 52 years, James M. Edmiston Jr., Daughter, Krystal (Robert) Bauch, Son, Scott Edmiston, Daughter, Kellie (James) Weatherford, Grandchildren; Shannon, Briana and Jacquelyn Bauch, Siobhan and Declan Weatherford, Sister, Susan Looney, and many Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, in Akron. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, c/o Akron General Foundation, 400 Wabash Ave, Akron, OH 44307-2463.
