Eleanor Jean Saylor
Eleanor Jean Saylor, 74, of Tallmadge, passed away on August 20, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born on February 2, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan. Eleanor had a lifelong love of gardening, cooking, and canning. She retired from General Electric after 25 years of service. Eleanor will always be remembered for her strong will, her deep faith, and her love for family. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Vern; parents, Ernest and Carrie; and siblings, Morris, Beverly, and Dorthey. She will be deeply missed by her children, Matthew (Myriam) Bushnell, Susan Meyers, Carrie (Joel) Sweitzer, Jonathan Bushnell, and Shelly (Matthew) Catalano; stepchildren, Audra (Shane) Hall, Cindy (Todd) Steinel, and Nicole Ross; sisters, Catherine Hunt, Maxine Pratt, and Marilyn (Steve) Gleckler; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
