Elaine M. Phillips, 85, of Akron, passed away September 26, 2012. She was born in Akron on August 17, 1927 to the late Park and Ruby Smith.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 67 years, Earl; sons, Dennis and Randy (Nancy); grandchildren, Aaron (Megan), Nicole, Jennifer; brother, Gerald Smith; sister, Nancy Yankulov.
Family and friends may call on Monday, October 1 from 10-12 a.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services follow at 12 p.m. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Lake Center Christian School 12893 Kaufman Ave. NW Hartville OH 44632.
