Edwin William Jobkar Sr. passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on June 14, 1951, Ed will be remembered as a hardworking, generous man whose humor, skill, and kindness left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Ed worked for Facchiano Construction for many years, having begun his career there as a young man. He took pride in honest work and built a life marked by dedication and steady effort. Outside of work, Ed enjoyed fishing, playing golf, gardening, and tinkering around the house and in the garage. He loved woodworking and metal fabrication, and his family often said that if Ed wanted to build himself a house, he could do it. His hands were rarely still, and he found satisfaction in creating, fixing, and improving the world around him.

Ed had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. Most of all, he loved hearing the laughter of his grandchildren when they were together. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone, and he did so without ever expecting anything in return. That generosity of spirit was one of the qualities that defined him most clearly and will be remembered with deep affection.

He is survived by his son, Edwin W. (Robin) Jobkar Jr., grandchildren, Caleb, Cole, and Mats Jobkar, brother, Robert (Arlene) Jobkar; and his longtime friend and the mother of his son, Kathi Jobkar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and John Jobkar; his sister, Arlene Pesto; and his brothers, Joseph and Melvin Jobkar.

Ed will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his capable hands, his ready humor, and the quiet generosity he showed throughout his life. His memory will live on in the family he loved, in the laughter he inspired, and in the many lives he touched through his willingness to help others.

Ed's wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services.
