Edward David Stevenson, 71, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away August 19, 2012. Edward was born in Cleveland on December 12, 1940 to the late Edward and Helen Stevenson. He graduated from Elyria Catholic High School and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University. Throughout his career, he worked in advertising, finance, and production. For many years he coached Goodyear Heights Hot Stove Baseball. Edward was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and fishing.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Maria (Scott) Tafini, Michelle Stevenson, and Chad Stevenson and their mother, Elizabeth Stevenson; brother, Dennis (Michele) Stevenson and nephews, Matthew and Aaron; sister, Barbara Stevenson; and grandchildren, Alex and Nic.
Visitation will be Wednesday August 22 from 5-7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
