Edna L Smith

Edna L. Smith, 92, of Akron, passed peacefully at home on September 1, 2017. Edna enjoyed crafts, knitting, crocheting, painting, and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and walking with her friend Ruth McCourt. She was a hardworking woman who served as a homemaker and caregiver throughout her life. She was an active member at Grace Baptist Church.

Edna was survived by her sons, Skip (Sandy) Smith and Charles Smith; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Smith; children, Robert Smith, Harry Smith, John Smith, Patrick Smith, and Gayle Smith; and grandson Samuel Smith Jr.

A memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Bob Stephens at Grace Baptist Church 704 N. Firestone Blvd., Akron, OH 44306 on Monday September 11, 2017 at 10 a.m.
