Edna R. Paparone, 87, beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, February 14, 2011. She was born in Akron, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Clara (McGlinchey) Morrison. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur; sisters, Janet Morgan and Janice Maglic; and brother, Robert Morrison. She graduated from St. Mary's High School and worked at Mary Coyle's. She was a talented seamstress and worked for a time at the University of Akron costume department. She loved dancing, was a loyal Cleveland Indians fan, and enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities. Her hobbies included baking, cooking, flower gardening, and puzzles. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Paparone and Karen (Mike) Coyne; sons, Arthur (Lori) and Charles (Trudy); sisters, Mary Lund and Fran Stock; grandchildren, John, Nathan, Meredith, Melanie, and Jason; great-grandchildren, Shianne, Gabrielle, and Trent; and many nieces and nephews. We are blessed by the time we shared and will carry her in our hearts forever. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a memorial service will be held on Friday at 12:00 noon, Father Tom Stock officiating. Inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Akron Children's Hospital or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
