Edna M. Flack, 94, of Cuyahoga Falls, was welcomed into heaven September 8, 2014. Born and raised in Akron, she resided in Cuyahoga Falls for many years. Edna held many jobs but most recently was employed as a crossing guard for the city and cafeteria monitory at Cuyahoga Falls City Schools. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel J. Flack in 1993 and step son Richard Flack. She is survived by her children, Samuel J. Flack Jr. of Cuyahoga Falls, Michael (Vicki) Flack of Albemarle, NC, Linda (Robert) Bell of Duluth, GA, Marie (John) Thomas of Tallmadge and Eileen (Chuck) Martinez of Cuyahoga Falls as well as step-sons, Edward (Norma) of Mogadore and William of Akron. Edna was a loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her warm heart and her love of family. Words can never express what a wonderful person she was. The family would like to thank the caring nursing staff and aides at Bath Creek Estates as well as Akron General Hospice/ Visiting Nurse. Family and friend may call on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 5pm to 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 10:30am at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E. Waterloo Rd Akron, Ohio 44319
