Edmund "Ed" Sobush

Edmund "Ed" Sobush, age 79, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2025.

He was born on April 30, 1946 to Edward and Francis (Tarallo) Sobush in Sayreville, New Jersey.

Ed worked as a Computer Programmer many years for Goodyear and IBM before his retirement.

He was an avid bowler. Ed also enjoyed sailing, his MGs, cooking and traveling with his family. He found great joy in his grandchildren.

Edmund is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Gloria; children, Jason (Kris) Sobush, Byron (Christina) Shepard and Tara (Jeff) Hughey; grandchildren, Quinton (Sarah), Olivia (Drew) and Lucas (Katy) Hughey; siblings, Anne Marie Blake and Judy (Skip) Keegan; as well as other family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no formal services planned at this time.
