Dr. Edward Suso, Jr., 90, passed away on August 19, 2014.
Edward graduated from the Ohio State University and was a big Ohio State fan, having attended 51 consecutive home openers. He worked as a dentist for 39 years. Edward was a member of the YMCA and the Optimus Club of Akron.
Preceded in death by his brother, Julian. Survivors include his wife, Penny, of 64 years; son, Edward, III; daughter, Cynthia; grandchildren, Chris Sipes, Dr. Katie Sneed, Kelly Green, and Kevin Sipes; 3 great-grandchildren; and sister, Elsie Livengood.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, 11:30 a.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
