Dorothy R. Wright, 84, passed away on January 3, 2013. Dorothy was born on September 12, 1928 in Harrisville, WV, to the late Hugo Moats and Ada Moats Fox. She was a member of the VFW and First United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Murle; daughter, Tandy.
Survivors include son, Denver (Diane); daughter, Cynthia (Jerry) Persall; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
