Dorothy R. Mihalic, age 88 of Akron, Ohio, died on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Essex Health Care Center in Tallmadge, Ohio.
She was born in Akron, the daughter of the late John and Albina Habyan Mihalic.
Dorothy liked to travel with her sister and her family.
Survivors include her niece, Barbara (Steven) Melton; and several great-nieces and great-nephews and their families, Robert (Pam) Hoppes, Dawn (David) Paxton, Michele (Ron) Petryshak, Gerald (Michele) Hoppes, and Kimberly (Vesa) Hoppes; and her good friend, Gwen Nesby.
Other than her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Gerald J. Rezack; and her niece, Lizbeth K. White.
There will not be any services or calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
