Dorothy Mae Hargett Jupin
Dorothy Jupin went to be with the Lord and her loving husband on February 27, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born June 18, 1925 in New Bern, North Carolina to Jim and Bessie Hargett. In 1944, she met the love of her life of 65 years, Joe Jupin, and married him. She was a member of the Hillwood Chapel Church for 65 years.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Irene Chance and Lib Featherstun of New Bern, NC. She is survived by her sisters, Sue Mays of New Bern, NC, Agnes Eubanks of Jacksonville, FL; children, Jim (Linda) Jupin, Sue Callihan; grandchildren, Rachel (Dave) Clark, Matthew (Erin) Jupin, Adam Callihan, and Jonathan (Becca) Callihan; two great-grandchildren, Declan and Katie Clark. The family wishes to thank the staff of Unit 500 at Pebble Creek Nursing Home, Julie Frank, Steve Buheit, and the registered nurse Ann at Akron City Hospital Palliative Care 302 East for all the care given to Dorothy.
Funeral service will be Monday, March 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation for one hour prior at Hillwood Chapel, 4824 S. Arlington Rd., Uniontown, OH 44685. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillwood Chapel.
