Dorothy "Marie" Heasley, 92, of Cameron, NC, passed away March 5, 2014. She was born in Akron, OH on November 10, 1921 to the late Cyril and Virginia Bauer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert; brothers, Cyril and Richard; sisters, Ruth, Margaret and Evelyn Joan.
Marie is survived by her son, Doug (Judy) Hankins Jr. ; grandchild, Doug (Angela) Hankins III; great-grandchildren, Christine and Taylor Hankins; caregivers, Tommy and Patty Godfrey.
Family and friends may call on Monday, March 10, from 10-11 a.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will follow calling hours at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Gindlesberger officiating.
Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
