Dorothy L. Wolfe

Dorothy Louise "Dot" Wolfe, nee LaVoie 87, went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2015. She was born in Madison, Maine to the late John and Elizabeth LaVoie. She was a wonderful wife and mother, who always took care of others needs first. She enjoyed traveling and camping to Canada and throughout the US. Dot was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph; sister, Catherine Holt and brother, Leo LaVoie.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Joseph (Suzette) Wolfe; daughters, Dianne Cottle and Joanne (Ronald) Slusser; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 28, 2015 at 12 noon at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Friends may call the chapel from 11-12. Pastor Brent Malone officiating. Interment Woods Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
