Doris Marjorie Lute

Doris "Marj" Lute, 87, passed away on August 22, 2012. Marj was born on May 24, 1925 to the late John and Edna Hardman. She was a member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church where she also sang in the choir. Marj was a member of the Yusef Khan Caldron. She enjoyed singing with the numerous choruses that she belonged to. She also enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her husband, James S.; son, Alan J. Survivors include sons, Richard J. (Lori), Thomas J. (Cheryl), and Michael J. (Donna); daughters, Wanda J. Lute and Lora J. Hoffman; grandchildren, Emily, Derek, Rachael, Scott, Jenea, Joshua, Devon, Alan, Brianna; great-grandchildren, Kolton, Shaylee, Ella, Landon, Rhyannon, and Rourik; brother, Dale (Joyce) Hardman; sister, Merle Winsett.

Calling hours will be Thursday, August 30, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
