Doris J. Nuss, born July 10, 1922 in North Carolina to the late Benjamin and Sadie Ledbetter, passed away on September 5, 2014.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve.
She is survived by children, Polly Myers, Betty Nuss, Steve Nuss, Sr. (Nadine), and Ben (Julie) Nuss; grandchildren, John Myers, Jaclin (Ryan) Cale, Steve Nuss, Jr. (Amanda), Michael Nuss, Tequila Nuss, Nikko and Brandon Bradley; and 7 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
