Doris J. Dawson, 79, of Akron, passed away September 29, 2014. She was born in Akron, Ohio on January 22, 1935 to the late Andy and Bernice McCullough.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her loving Husband, David. She is survived by Son, Rick (Kathy) Dawson, Son, Mark Dawson, Sister, Helen (Bob) Martin, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, family members, friends and dog, Maggie Mae.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:00 pm with Rev. William Crockett officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
