Dora "Elaine" Kimbrough

Dora "Elaine" Kimbrough, age 76, of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on April 21, 2025. Born on March 6, 1949, in Montgomery, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian Skaggs.

Elaine enjoyed crocheting in her free time as well as animals of all kinds. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, who brought joy and fulfillment to her life.

She is survived by her son, Heath (Chassity); her beloved grandchildren, Christian and Emerson; her sister, Karen; her daughter-in-law, Melissa; brother-in-law, Chuck; as well as nieces, Erin, Becky and Jackie; and nephew, Allen.

Elaine was preceded in death by her siblings, Diane and Tom.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family is planning a private gathering to celebrate her life at a later date.
