Donna Jean Wolfe

Donna Jean (Hutton) Wolfe, 95, of Akron, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026. She was born on October 14, 1930, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Leonard and Mary Hutton.

Donna graduated from Kenmore High School and later met the love of her life, Donald R. Wolfe, while singing in a community choir. They married and shared 65 wonderful years before his passing in 2020. We rejoice in the hope of Heaven that they are singing together again.

A devoted wife, mother, Nana, and Great-Nana, Donna’s life was marked by her deep faith and love for family. Donna loved flowers, the beach, traveling, and any time her family could gather around her table for a meal. She was an active member of Northside Christian Church, where she found joy in singing and praising God.

In addition to her parents and beloved husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, twin sisters, and brothers-in-law.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Diane (Bryan) Costlow of Tallmadge, OH; Darla (Dean) Ruff of Wadsworth, OH; and Danielle (Mark) Williams of Port Charlotte, FL; her grandchildren, Doug (Bethany) Costlow, Rebecca (Tim) Warner, Dayna (Steve) Dukles, Dylan (Katie) Ruff, Allana (Luke) Williams, Alexander (Emily) Williams, Daniel (Miriam) Ruff, Rachel (Nate) Todd, and Abigail (Jake) Saffle; and her great-grandchildren, Parker, Carson, Ram, Cora, Benjamin, Arilynn, Piper, Isaac, Cecilia, Weston, Sylvia, Dallas, Emmett, Eleanor, Calvin, and Nora; her sister, Nancy Ginther of Wichita, Kansas, and brother-in-law Guy Thrams of Sun City Center, Florida.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, February 15, from 5:00-7:00 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Monday, February 16, at 11:00.
