Donna Jean Smyth

Donna Jean Smyth, age 86, of Brimfield Township, born on September 5, 1939, in Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025. She was a cherished member of her community and will be remembered for her kind spirit and generous heart.

Donna graduated from Kent State University High School in 1957. She retired as a bookkeeper from Kent Mold and Manufacturing Company.

She is survived by many cousins and friends, including Maryanne (Jim) Beall, Bill (Nancy) Griggy, and Jean (Mike) Conroy, who will forever cherish their memories with her. Donna is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Russell and Alice Smyth.

As we reflect on her life, we remember Donna Jean Smyth as someone who lived a full and beautiful life, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and community service that will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday October 31 at 11 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Randolph. Visitation is a half hour prior from 10:30-11 AM. Final resting place is Restland Cemetery Brimfield.
