Donald R. Anderson, 76, passed away on January 2, 2014.
Don retired from Goodyear after 37 years and was also a US Army veteran. His favorite things were car shows and his family.
Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley; 2 daughters, Lisa Anderson and Valarie (David) Muckensturm; his grandsons, Keith and Marc (Rachael Ott) Muckensturm, whom he called his "Sonny Boys".
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 am at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
