Donnie loved traveling and was especially fond of his trips with his niece Lyndsey. He loved all animals great and small. He was an avid jewelry maker, rock collector, and gardener. He loved to cook and never turned down an opportunity to enjoy wonderful cuisine at Ken Stewarts with his good friend Evvon. We can't forget how he had the Krispy Kreme app on his phone so he knew when the donuts were hot.
He loved the Arts, Music, theatre, and not too many could beat him at answering the questions on Jeopardy. He was the keeper of all feral cats and would feed them before he fed himself. Donnie graduated from East High School in 1978, attended the University of Akron, obtained his Water Safety Instructor certificate from Kent State, and worked as an Aquatic Instructor for several locations in Ohio and Texas. He was also a server for many restaurant facilities.
The family gives their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Thomas File, Dr. Edward Esber, and the entire Liver Transplant team at Cleveland Clinic and the G100 floor for their wonderful care and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his honor to One of a Kind Pets, www.oneofakindpets.com or your favorite charity. Honoring his request, there will be no services.
