Donald R. Hayes

We pause today to shed a tear for Donald Ray Hayes who passed peacefully in his home on May 4, 2017. He was born in Central City, Kentucky on July 8, 1937 to late parents Jess and Flora Hayes. Donald enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going to the race car tracks, and traveling around visiting.

To cherish his memories, he leaves Marge, his long-time companion, David, Damien, and all of her family; sister, Juanita Brinson; son, Donald Ray Hayes Jr.; daughters, Maddy (Jack) Sharp, Lesha (Gregg) Reed, Anita (Bob) Fox, Vicky (Mike) Gross, and Mary Jarvis; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 8, 2017 from 6:00pm -7:30pm at North Salem Church, 71590 Old 21 Rd., Kimbolton, OH 43749. Funeral service to follow at 7:30. Visitation will also be held Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron and also Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Funeral service to be held at 1:00pm. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron, OH to follow.
