Surrounded by his loving family and friends, Don Hill passed away peacefully on October 2 after a long illness. He was 67. Don was a lifelong resident of Akron and Cuyahoga Falls. He graduated from Ellet High School in 1966 and served in the U.S. Army from 1966 - 1968 in Korea. Don enjoyed a wide range of music, movies and sports, especially football with his lifelong friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Don and Peggy Hill. He is survived by his children, Becky (Dave) Reichman of Mineral City, Sarah (Ken) Podrasky of Green, Geoff (Chelsea) Hill of Dublin; grandchildren, David, Chris, Jacob, Ryan, Dominic and Bennett; sister, Lori (Charles) Ast of Cuyahoga Falls; great friend of 53 years, Rick (Linda) Motz of Tallmadge. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 6 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Parkside Church, 4520 S. Arlington Rd. in Green.
