Donald F. Husk, 84, of Tallmadge, passed away April 15, 2014. Donald was born in Salem, West Virginia on September 15, 1929 to the late William and Vallie Husk. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. A 'jack of all trades,' Don loved to tinker around, collect and build projects. He retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service and really enjoyed being "Grandpa" to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife, Thelma "June" Husk; twin brother, Ronald Husk; step-father, Charles Hamrick; 6 sisters; 2 more brothers; granddaughter, Christina Husk; son-in-law, Bill Auckerman. Leaving to cherish his loving memory are his children; Don (Belinda) Husk, Karen (Bill deceased) Auckerman, Pamela (Dale) Highsmith, Mark Husk, and Robin (John) Gill; sister, Bonnie Bennett; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren (and 2 on the way.)
Family and friends may call on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 10-11 am at Tallmadge Alliance Church, 1155 East Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, following visitation. Private burial will take place following services at Tallmadge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Don's honor to Tallmadge Alliance Church at the aforementioned address.
