Dixie M. Confere

Dixie Marie Confere, 73, of Atwater, passed away on May 14, 2026.

She was born on December 15, 1952 to Richard and Elsie Belvin in Akron, OH.

Dixie was a 1971 graduate of Waterloo High School and a life time resident of Randolph. Dixie worked as a Dental Lab Assistant where she retired.

She was a registered tribal member of the Monacan Indian Nation. She was an avid painter, she loved bowling, and she loved spending time with her family. She was a very loving and strong woman admired by many.

Dixie is survived by her loving children, Martina Cook and Martin Howard; grandchildren, Cheyanne, Ciara, and Bryce; 2 great-grandchildren, sisters, Karen and Janice; and brothers, Richie, Lenny, and Myron; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Elsie Belvin; and husband, Robert.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, 10:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, Ohio 44305 with a funeral service at 11:00 am, Laura Sands will officiate. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
