Dianne L. Johnson, née Bahry, aged 83, passed away on April 25 after a courageous 2.5-year battle with a rare cancer. She departed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.
Throughout her journey, Dianne displayed incredible courage and unwavering hope. She fought with determination and grace until her last breath. Dianne touched the lives of those around her with her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Despite facing the challenges of her illness, she remained a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who knew her. Dianne was passionate about her calling to heal through massage therapy and always had her patients' best interests at heart. Known for her kindness, generosity, and compassion, she touched the lives of so many. Her selflessness and love knew no bounds, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of friends and family alike. Her legacy of love will be cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in her journey.
Dianne is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Art Johnson; children, Eric "EJ" (Kelli) Johnson and Shannon (Amish) Patel; grandchildren, Hannah (Logan) Speer, Christopher Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, Nathan Patel, and Neala Patel; siblings, Jim (Terry) Bahry, Bill (Maggie) Bahry, and Sue Bowman; and many nieces and nephews.
Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, James and Gertrude Bahry; brother, Hylem Bahry; brother-in-law, Jim Bowman; sister-in-law, Donna Bahry; and nephew, Shawn Bahry.
May Dianne rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may she be remembered for the love and light she brought into the lives of others.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Grace Bible Church, with a luncheon to follow.
