Denny S. Hawkins

Denny Steven Hawkins known to all as Steve, 76, passed away on August 15, 2026. He was born on December 18, 1949, the son of the late Denzile and Larna (Rucker) Hawkins of Clendenin, WV.

Much of his life, Steve was known for his deep love of the outdoors which included fishing, hunting, camping, and storytelling, which brought him great pleasure, but his greatest joy in life was his family. He had an unmistakable laugh, strong will and if he loved you, you knew it! He will be greatly missed by all.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sandra J. (Lamb) Hawkins; children, Karrie Hawkins, Kimberley (Jason) Roe, and Eric Hawkins; grandchildren, Kaleb Roe, Logan Roe, Tristan Roe, and Liam Roe; siblings, David (Kayann) Hawkins, Ronda Helems, Peggy (Joel) Shaffer, Daniel (Patty) Hawkins, and Timothy Hawkins; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
