Dennis Jon Trautman

Dennis Jon Trautman, 86, passed away at Akron Summa Hospital, May 26, 2026. He was born May 18, 1940 in Akron, Ohio.

Dennis was employed at Davey Tree Company and Goodyear Tire & Rubber where he retired after 31 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, classic car shows, and especially his GTO.

He was preceded in death by his parents Russell Trautman and Jean Trautman Meyer; brothers Tim Trautman, Tom Trautman, and Craig Trautman; and sister in-law Diane Trautman.

He is survived by his daughters, Kelly Linn (Bill Denison) and Kristi Stricker (Mike); sons, Dennis Trautman, David Trautman (Kim), Derick Trautman (Melissa); his sweetheart Sandy Carver; sister in-laws, Linda Trautman and Katrina Trautman; eleven grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
