Dennis J. Coontz, 54, passed away March 2, 2012. He was born May 29, 1957 in Akron, Ohio. Dennis is survived by his mother, Willadean (Coontz) Boyles; daughter, Emmalee; brothers, Doyle Hartzel (Tammie), Darrell (Sandy), Mark (Tammy), Paul (Brenda), and Tim (Tami); sister, Sue (Roy); step-siblings, Bobby, Donna, Sharon, and Linda; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Summa Hospice for their kindness. Calling hours will be held Monday, March 5, from 4 to 6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will follow at 6 pm with Rev. Jack Coontz officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park.
