Dennis R. Brunty

Dennis R. Brunty Sr., 86, went Home to be with his Lord on September 16, 2025 with family by his side. Born in Stone, KY to William and Emma (Baldwin) Brunty, he resided in Uniontown, OH most of his life. Dennis was a Veteran of the U. S. Navy and later retired from Rubber Associates. He was a member of Maranatha Bible Church. An avid golfer, Dennis enjoyed his weekly golf leagues, worshipping, working in the yard, gardening and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Haley; siblings, Charlie Brunty, Lena Patterson, Donna Elliot, Freda Rubin, Ronald Brunty. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Jayne Brunty; children, Dennis Brunty Jr., Ron Brunty, Mark (Beth) Brunty, Mike Callahan, Shelley (Jonathan) Levenson; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Melanie), David (Brianne), Samantha (Jeremy), Tommy, Benjamin (Rebecca), Jonathan (McKenna), Andrew (Kathie), Seth (Aidee), Faith, Naomi, Ian; great grandchildren, Matthew, Theo, Cooper, Amelia; siblings, Mattie (Johnny) Clay, Jeff (Cat) Brunty, Ann (Johnny) Taylor.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, September 22, 2025 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Maranatha Bible Church, 1424 Killian Rd, Akron, OH. The celebration of life service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Dennis' name to Broken Chains Ministries or Equip International Ministries.
