Denise M. Garrett

Denise M. Garrett, 57, passed away on December 5, 2025 after an extended illness. Born in Akron, Ohio to Leroy and Jane (Ashbrook) LeFever, she was a lifelong Akron area resident. For 25 years Denise worked as an office manager at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital. She enjoyed crafting, listening to true crime podcasts and spending time with her family, friends and her cat, Mocha.

Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Jane LeFever; grandparents, Leroy Sr and Samantha Belle LeFever. She will be sadly missed by her children, Sara (Brent) Ake, Jeff Sponaugle; grandchildren, Lacey, Oliver, Peyton, Delaney, Dash; father, Leroy (Phyllis) LeFever; beloved cousin, Jimmy.

The family will have a celebration of Denise's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Denise's name to the Cuyahoga Falls Church of the Nazarene.
