Delores Ann Dobosh

Delores Ann Dobosh, 78, passed away peacefully at home on May 1, 2026 with family be her side. Born in West Virginia to Eugene and Helen (McGowen) Shaffer, she resided in the Akron area most of her life. Delores enjoyed camping, fishing, watching Heartland and The Pitt as well as Steelers games and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.

In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by the love of her life, Larry Barlow; grandsons, Dustin Adams, Brandon Gibson; granddaughter, Krystal Miller; siblings, Clarence, Dave, Dorothy, Dennis, Donald. She will be sadly missed her children, Dwight (Erika) Fish, Dawnetta (Rick) Schiffbauer, Randy Dobosh; grandchildren, Brittany (Matthew), Todd, Jennifer, Ricky (Olivia), Brennon (Zoey), Makayla, Alivia; great grandchildren, Dillon, Braydon, Adam, Leo, Malachi, Brezze, Stormi, Justifi, Blu, Jaidyn, Makenna, Kaidyn, Gemma, Raelyn, Lilly, Roman, Bowden; sister, Patty (Kendall); best friends, Bobbi Sue, Kathy, Vicki; favorite cousin, Brenda; her loving aide, Heavenly; many other family and friends.

Everyone is invited to visit Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Delores' name to Tyler's Redemption or Keys to Serenity.
