Deborah Jean Lemmon

Deborah Jean (Overton) Lemmon, 71, passed away on May 8, 2026. She was born on April 25, 1955 to the late Gene and Katherine Overton. Debbie graduated from Brimfield High School and married Kenneth Lemmon on June 17, 1972. They settled in the Kenmore area of Akron where they raised their two sons.

Debbie retired from Graco Century. She enjoyed relaxing at home, watching her favorite TV shows and movies, especially anything starring Patrick Swayze. She was a happy-go-lucky person who appreciated a good joke and laughing with family and friends. She was a wonderful mother, sister, and grandmother and will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Overton; and daughter-in-law, Jeannette Lemmon.

She leaves to carry her memory her sons, Kenneth Lemmon Jr. and Timothy (Tonia) Lemmon; sisters, Rita (Raymond) Spangler, Nancy (Robert) Yaneff, and Judy Overton; grandchildren, James (Nina) Lemmon, Ashley Lemmon, and Joshua Lemmon; great-grandchildren, Canyon, Ellie, Miles, and Camilla. Debbie also leaves her former husband and lifelong friend, Kenneth Lemmon Sr.

Per Debbie's wishes, she will be laid to rest privately at Hillside Memorial Park.
