Debora Sue Wines

Debora Sue Wines, 71, of Tallmadge, passed away peacefully at her home on February 26, 2026. She was born in Cleveland on November 5, 1954 to the late Gene and Eloise {Fetty} Boso.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Tom Wines and her siblings Larry Boso and Kay Downey.

Debbie is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer (Abdalla) Yasin; son Richard Thompson; grandchildren, Kara (Brendan) Prebish, Kaylynn (Jeff) Perkins, Kailee Thompson, Kareem, Nadeem and Ameer Yasin; great-grandchildren Tanner, Trevor, Eliannah, Jemmah, Mila and Dempsey; niece Angie Parker and her family.

Debbie had a caring and generous heart, and would give the shirt off of her back to anyone in need. She often became a second mom to anyone who needed her, from family friends and neighbors to people she worked with. Debbie loved to spend time camping, sharing stories around the fire with her family. She was the first to cheer on her loved ones at sporting events, and loved to strike up conversation with just about anyone.

More than anything, Debbie loved her family, especially her marriage with Tom. Her family finds comfort knowing he was the first face she saw when she passed into Heaven, walking hand in hand into eternity.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Sunday, March 8th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., when the funeral service will begin.
