Dawn Elizabeth Keenan

Dawn Elizabeth Keenan, born July 14th, 1982 (age 43) passed away unexpectedly April 11th, 2026 at her home in Coventry Township, Ohio.

She graduated from Fortis College with her LPN in nursing and enjoyed her years working within nursing homes and long term care facilities throughout the Akron area. She was committed to rescuing animals by giving them the best home with her and her family. Dawn took great joy in caring for her plants, both inside and outside of her house, she had a natural gift of helping them thrive.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Erik Stevens; two beautiful daughters, Maura and Lilith Keenan; her mother, Kathleen Carter; her sisters, many nieces and other family members.

Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Road Akron, OH 44305 on Friday, April 17th, 2026. Visitation will be from 3pm-4pm followed by a Celebration of Life from 4pm-5pm.
