Dawn Marie Fitzgerald

Dawn Marie Fitzgerald , age 54, of Atwater, passed away on June 24, 2026. She was born on June 22, 1972 to John and Frances (Bland) Skipper in Akron, Ohio, where she lived all her life. Dawn enjoyed playing the piano from a young age, music, and loved motorcycles and fast cars. She was a beloved mother, daughter, grandma, and a friend to many.

Dawn is survived by her loving daughter, Olivia (Selvin) Florian, grandchildren, Sophia, Geovani, Emilio, mother, Frances Skipper, son, Nicholas Fitzgerald, special friends, Chrissy (Shane) Golden, Melissa (Dennis) Daughtery.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Skipper and brother, Michael Skipper.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 2, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Road, Akron. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Dawn.
