David P. Rardin, age 62 of Akron, Ohio, died on Monday, November 20, 2017 in Akron, Ohio.
He was born on August 5, 1955 in Barberton, Ohio, the son of the late David S. and Shirley (nee Brosch) Rardin.
David was a 1974 graduate of Garfield High School. He was a salesman for Wayside Furniture. Mr. Rardin enjoyed customizing cars, and he used to play Santa Claus.
Survivors include his three sisters, Gaile Young, Nancy (Dean) Young, and Barbara (Delmas) Chapman; his newphews and niece, Vincent (Lisa) Taylor, Nathan (Christy) Taylor, and Naydene (Michael) Blumer; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chase, Niall, Gretchen "Moon", Elliott Taylor and Candace and Nicole Blumer.
Other than his parents, David was preceded in death by his nephew, Shawn Blumer.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where Pastor Pam Buzalka will celebrate David's life.
Family and friends may visit the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.
