David Paul Baglia, 49, went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2014.
He was a loving father and son. David was a 1983 graduate of Jackson High School in Jackson Twp. and enjoyed his job working as a painter at Kent State University. He also liked hunting, golfing, and home-brewing beer. David was a huge Ohio State fan.
Survivors include son, Kirk David; parents, Joseph P. and Barbara "June"; sister, Hollie (Ray) Griffin; friend, Cindy Baglia; and his beloved niece, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Calling hours will be Saturday, 12-2 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
