David E. Lozier, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on September 4, 1958, Dave was the son of the late Kathleen Bennett Lozier and Robert Lozier.
Dave shared 40 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Kimberly Lozier, who was his best friend and constant companion. Together, they built a beautiful family and a lifetime of memories. He was the proud father of Bethan Huff (Gary), Charles Mayer (Elizabeth), Dustin Lozier (Jamie) and Lynn Schumaker (Keith), and the cherished grandfather of Mariah, Carson, Deagan, Caden, Dre, Dave, Lilly, Pierce, Phin, Jaxson, Dexter, and Ethan. His family was his greatest joy, and his love for them was unwavering.
Dave worked for Novar Controls for 23 years before retiring from Old Dominion Freight Line, where he was admired for his dedication and work ethic. Outside of his career, Dave lived life to the fullest. He served as President of Rollin Thunder Motorcycle Club in Akron, Ohio, where he forged lifelong friendships and shared his passion for the open road.
Recently, Dave fulfilled his lifelong dream of moving to Florida, where he spent his days doing what he loved most-watching sunsets with Kimberly and embracing the beauty of life. He was an avid fan of his Ohio sports teams-the Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Guardians-and never turned down a good game of craps. His laughter, sense of humor, and adventurous spirit brought joy to everyone who knew him.
Dave’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, and laughter. There are countless memories that will continue to bring smiles and warmth to the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
