David Lee Johnson, 66, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026 at his home.
Born on June 6, 1960, David was the beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Who brought love, laughter, and countless memories to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
David will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, generosity, and his strong love for his family. He had a way of making people feel loved and always welcomed, and his presence could brighten even the ordinary moments. He had a great sense of humor and a fire cracker personality that all you could do is laugh, just ask the scam callers. He especially loved his Knickknacks, yard saling, watching a good tv show in his recliner, reminiscing on good times, and most of all spending time with his family. Above all, family was the most important thing to David. He treasured the time he spent with his loved ones and took great pride in watching his family grow.
He is survived by his daughter Erica, his granddaughters: Cheyeanne, Tammara, Kaylynn, Ariyanna, Grandsons: Brett, Isaiah, Great grandchildren: Jayden, Everett, Kingston, Estella, one baby girl on the way, 3 brothers and 4 sisters, 15 nieces and nephews, 22+ great nieces and nephews, 2 great great nephews, and so many other family members and friends who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by Virginia Mae Allen Johnson Fisher, mother, Estill Roy Johnson, father, Fred O Fisher, stepdad, and his grandmothers Louvena Gary, and Ethel Mae Johnson Angle.
Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we are beyond grateful for the love he gave us, the lessons he taught us, and the memories he left behind with us. His legacy will live on through the people he loved and the lives he touched. Always and Forever.
