David L. Burton
David L. Burton, 78, of Akron, passed away on April 26, 2014. He was born in Bloomington, Indiana on February 9, 1936 to the late Laurence and Edna Burton.
David graduated from Ellet High School in 1956, worked at Goodyear for 37 years, and retired from Stow Mold in 1995.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Burton.
David is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Monte Dean (Lisa) Burton and David Scott Burton; daughter, Tammy Burton; siblings, Don (Hazel) Burton, Wilma (James) McFadden, and Jerry Burton; brother-in-law, Harry (Cathy) Arble; and several grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 29 from 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Cathy Arble officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
