David Jamison
David Jamison, 71, went home to be with the Lord on November 10, 2015. He was born on May 8, 1944 in Montclair, NJ. David was a Vietnam Veteran in the US Navy from 1963-1966. He was a beloved father, grandfather, husband and brother who adored his family. David enjoyed listening to music and painting ceramics. He was an active member of Tallmadge Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hunter and Madeliene Jamison. David is survived by his wife, Arlene; children, Theresa (Mike) Nemcek, Joseph (Shannon) Jamison and Rebecca (Daniel) Maxwell; grandchildren, Michael Ray, Sammantha, Hope, Jacob, Hannah, Joshua and Isabella; siblings, Nancy (John) Finucane, Susan Glykas, and Christine (David) Crane; and other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday November 20, 2015 from 11-1pm. Funeral service will begin at 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Pastor Douglas E. Riley officiating.
