David E. Hendrix "Dudley", 71, passed away on November 26, 2014.
He was born in High Point, NC on August 21, 1943 to the late Thomas M. Hendrix and Mary C. McMahan. David was a long distance truck driver for over 50 years, 25 of which were spent driving with his wife, Barbara. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed NASCAR.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Ruby McSwain. Survivors include his beloved wife, Barbara, with whom he was together for over 30 years; sons, Jason E. (Karen) Hendrix and David C. (Tara) Schneider; daughters, Brenda K. Waycaster and Jennifer M. (David) Lloyd; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Stephen (Jan) and Paul "Nicky" (Donna) Hendrix; sister, Linda Hester; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Monday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cooper Cancer Center, 161 N. Forge St. Akron, OH 44304.
