David R. Cook

David R. Cook, 71, passed away March 31, 2026 at Hudson Elms. Born in Akron, Ohio to Raymond and Donna (Brown) Cook, he was a lifelong area resident. Dave previously worked at Acme Foods and he enjoyed writing short stories, competitive swimming and playing the guitar.

David will be sadly missed by his brothers, Robert (Traudy) Cook, Jim (Cheryl) Cook; nieces, Jesse, Julia; nephews, Derek, Brian, Eddie, Neal; many great nieces and great nephews.

The family will have a private graveside service at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in David's name to the charity of their choice.
