David "Buddy" Malcolm

David "Buddy" Malcolm, 27, of Akron, passed away on May 19, 2016. He was born on August 31, 1988 in Norfolk, VA and resided for most of his life in Akron. David was a very generous man who loved his family, was passionate about his work, and never had a harsh word to say about anyone. He will be deeply missed by all, especially his two daughters.

David is preceded in death by grandparents, Robert and Kathy Lowrey, Dennis Malcolm, Barbara and Rudy Evancheck, Shirley and Dave Hartline; numerous aunts and uncles; and some good friends.

He is survived by the love of his life, Ashley Brown; daughters, Ava and Hallie Malcolm; parents, Jeana Malcolm, Dennis (Connie) Malcolm; sisters, Alyssa Malcolm, Aliya (Lillianne) Sherard, Kaylee Malcolm; brother, Kristopher Malcolm; niece, Alyvia; great-grandmother, Marie Lowrey; close friends, Chris Craft and Benjamin Marshall; many other family and friends.

Family will receive guests on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 3-6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will be held at 6pm. Cremation will take place at a later date.
